Every day, Albanian or foreign films, documentaries and animations are broadcast on TV,
appear online or in public spaces.
But many of their creators, such as directors, screenwriters, cinematographers, and producers, are not compensated as they deserve.

This is where FAAD comes into play.
FAAD Collective Audiovisual Agency is the only organization in Albania
that protects and administers the rights of authors of audiovisual works.
With the support of the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, we have a clear mission:
To guarantee fair payment to creators. To protect their rights from unauthorized use.

Awareness starts in schools
In 2024, FAAD launched the "Respect the Creator" campaign in Albanian high schools.
During this campaign:
We visited over 25 schools. We explained the importance of copyright.
We discussed the consequences of digital piracy. We promoted the use of licensed content.

Our message was simple:
“Every click matters. Every view has value. Every creator deserves respect.”
